Export data from a message

Steps to do it:

  1. Access to a message and click on Analytics

  2. At the top of the page, click on the button Create Report, or select the dropdown menu and select Create Advanced Report.

  3. If you selected the standard report, you will just need to enter your email and select Send Report.

  4. If you selected Create Advanced Report, you will need to check the information you want to export and click on Next. Then you just enter your email and select Send Report.

Contacts Selection

Include contacts with current access

Does not include any contacts that were deactivated, deleted, or that the message is no longer published to.

Include all-time recipients

All contacts, whether deactivated, deleted, or with access removed, that the message has been published to will be displayed.

Group By

This allows you to group the results by a certain data type.

Data Selection

In the Advanced Report window, click on the black arrow beside each of the data types to expand and show the different options that can be included in the report.

Contacts Data
These data points are referring to the information contained within the contact card of any contact. It includes all the default contact fields (Contact ID, First Name, Last Name, etc) and any custom contact fields that have been created on your platform.

Delivery Data
Under message info, you'll find the data related to the message: Sent date for SMS and/or email, the open date for SMS and/or email, total sent, total received, etc. Tick the ones you find relevant to include them in your export.

Quiz Data

If there is a Quiz Module in the message, you can select which quiz data you would like to be added to the report. If there is no quiz module, this option will be greyed out.

Engagement Data
This concerns all social data ie. Reactions & Comments, which can also be included in the advanced report.

Modules Data

The modules data gives information on every single module within the message ie. Who clicked what button, what feedback did contacts leave etc. This gives us a comprehensive overview of module engagement by contacts.

Exclude unused columns from the report

If you have checked some information that is for some reason not available in the message data you're exporting (could you have checked department under contact info, but you don't have that information on the contacts), this default setting will ensure that you don't export an empty column in your report.

Reset to default values

Previous settings will be saved as default settings for your future analytics exports. If you want to reset the settings, you can do so by clicking this button.
