Password Change While Logged In

  • When an admin or editor changes their password while logged in, all other active sessions (on different browsers or devices) will be automatically terminated.

  • Only the current session where the password was changed will remain active.

Forgot Password & Reset Process

  1. When an admin or editor initiates the "Forgot Password" process, they will receive an email containing:

    • A temporary token/password

    • A link to the reset password page

  2. On the reset password page, they must enter the temporary token from the email.

  3. Once the token is verified, they can set a new password that complies with the organization's password policy.

After Resetting the Password

  • After successfully updating the password, all active sessions will be terminated.

  • The admin or editor must log in again using the new password.

This process ensures enhanced security and prevents unauthorized access from previously active sessions.
